Why to ditch the kitchen seed oils and delve into a world with Ghee!

Ghee is clarified butter - a process of cooking (ideally organic grass fed) butter at a low temperature until only the solids are left, then what's left is the clarified fat, the good stuff known as Ghee.

this delicious goodness is a soluble fat that originates from India and is commonly used all over the world to this day.. for frying, baking, sauteing, enjoying on toast, in porridge etc! some will even add to their coffee - making it a medicinal elixir!!

recently, ghee is owed a lot as it is being used in herbal therapies and is growing in popularity because of the benefits it offers for our body, both spiritually and physically

Ghee doesn't burn because of it's high smoke point, meaning none of those nasty burning oil smells it doesn't oxidise as quick as other oils so those nutrients aren't disappearing anywhere - those nutrients are the ones our bodies crave!!

It's so nourishing for our digestive system (with the pro of this being maintenance for our gut health), aiding is faster absorption, boosting immunity and preventing us from getting bacterial & infections.. (hallelujah)

Ghee has been a huge part of my Ayurvedic journey! I haven't made my own (yet) so I'll continue to support the small business of the one I love.
